Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day celebration at the Station. In its honor i am making a cake. I saw some chef on DirecTV making the popular german cake and thought to try it out.
First problem... i have nk cherries. Solution: mango
Second problem... no liquor. Solution: mango syrup
The guy on tv shows you how to cut the cake in layers and paint theayers w the syrup, lay the fruit, spread the frosting, etc. It seemed so simple! And it was!
So here are my process pics of how it went. I frost the outside of it tomorrow before heading out the door so it looks pretty plain on the outside.
